Inspired by Edith Holden's "The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady", written in 1906, This journal documents the changing flora and fauna in and around London 100 years later.

The flower icon is of Rhododendron "Elizabeth" (R. forrestii × R. griersonianum) taken at Kew (in the Rhododendron Dell) summer 2005.

The "Random" picture is indeed that, having found it on a reel of photos I took on the Isle of Wight, but answering absolutely no description of anywhere I'd been there. If anyone recognises it, I'd be grateful if you could let me know where it is!
